The Holt Bolt operates as both an in-school program and as after-school events. The HBK team heads out to Primary and Secondary schools across South-East Queensland during the week and run students through the course. Incursions can be incorporated into the school curriculum, run as rewards day programs, end of term celebrations or team building activities. After school events run independently to the school curriculum and aim to give students the opportunity to get active after school and raise funds for the respective school at the same time. In-school Fun Runs are the “next level” fundraising concept. Our pilot school in March 2017 raised over $15,000 from one event!
Community events are now also available for larger-scale fundraising and functions. Community events for schools, clubs, associations and corporate team building can be run anywhere across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. For more information on The Holt Bolt community events visit our community event page.
In 2016 HBK started touring rural Queensland areas, trying to spread the concept of obstacle courses as a fun, non-competitive form of physical activity. If you live in a rural town or know a rural town community who might like to have a Holt Bolt Kids tour, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be in touch!
